Wilma Gene Fitzpatrick (Kline)

Wilma G. Fitzpatrick, age 72, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.

Born on September 10, 1943 in Fowler, Michigan, Wilma was the daughter of Victor & Julia (Dumond) Kline, both of whom have preceded her in death as well as her husband, Edmund Fitzpatrick; brothers, Louie Kline, Bob Kline, Raymond Kline and sister-in-law, Rosie Kline.

Wilma is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Dale) Brink of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Lori (Gordon) Keech of Charlotte; sons, Larry (MaryJo) Fitzpatrick of Sheridan, Daniel (Jodi) Fitzpatrick of Palo; stepdaughter, Jackie Fitzpatrick of Rockford; stepson, Perry Fitzpatrick of Hubbardston; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Quick of San Angelo, Texas; sisters-in-law, Sharon Kline of Fowler, Ellen Kline of Hubbardston and her lifelong best friend, Monica Hersch of Muir.

Wilma was an amazing woman. She loved woodworking, going to concerts with her friends, dancing, fishing with her brother Louie, swimming and going out to eat. She had a special place in her heart for animals and had a special way about her. Wilma was a great mom and grandma and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation with Wilma’s family is being held on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 beginning at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Hubbardston with Father Charlon Mason as celebrant. Final interment will be at St. John the Baptist Church cemetery in Hubbardston.
