William E. Hopkins

William E. Hopkins, age 50, of Stanton, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 13, 2022, under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Hospice.

Billy loved to hunt, fish, play horseshoes, try his luck at the casino, and travel. 

Surviving Billy is his mom, Mary Dukes; father, Bill (Holly) Hopkins; wife, Kerri Hopkins; daughter, Ashley Silvernail; son, Roy Silvernail; sisters, Evelyn Cusack and Buffy Ostrander; brothers, Scott Crawford, Richard (Julie) Brokaw, Travis (Sam) Dukes, Brian (Steph) Hopkins, Don (Traci) Ledger; numerous step siblings; mother-in-law, Chris Jeffrey; father-in-law, Charlie Jeffrey; sister-in-law, Amanda Jeffrey; step grandma, Carolyn Coles; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill & Arlene Hopkins, Lloyd & Evelyn Mutchler, and Gerald Coles; stepmother, Ann Hopkins; stepfather, Roger Dukes; and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held at a later date.
