Wanetta Hume (Parcher)

Wanetta Hume, age 91, of Palo, passed away at her home on Friday, January 14, 2022, under the loving care of her family and Sparrow Hospice.
Wanetta owned and operated Hume Adult Foster Care in Palo for many years and loved caring for her residents. She liked tending to her flower garden, crafting, and she loved playing games with her family.
Surviving Wanetta are her daughters, Patty (Kelly) Whitelock of Ionia, Peggy McClure of South Daytona, Florida, and Lucy (Tom) Wohlscheid of Palo; son, Michael Hume of Palo; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and her sister, Virginia Chrisman of Ionia.
Wanetta was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford & Ruby (Bently) Parcher and two brothers, Donald Parcher and Louis Parcher.
In honoring Wanetta’s wishes, no formal funeral ceremony is being held and she will be laid to rest in Palo Cemetery.
