Obituary for
Wanda Peterman

Wanda Jean Peterman, age 80, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Sheridan Community Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on September 18, 1932 in Crystal, the daughter of Vernie & Velma (Baker) Munn.
On October 1, 1949, Wanda was married to Roger W. Peterman and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2010.
Surviving are her children, Connie & Harold Schultz of Stanton, Fay & Daryl Williams of Stanton, Sandy & Veldra Raines of Sidney, Sherri & David Jeffrey of Sheridan, Wayne Peterman of Riverdale, Alan & Twyla Peterman of Grawn, Michigan, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, a sister, Grace Black of Howard City, and 2 sisters in law, Pauline Cope of Sidney and Deloise Stewart of Stanton.
Wanda has been a lifelong resident of the Sidney area and for several years, she managed the Half Moon Motel in the winter months for the Parker family. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by all of them.
Funeral services beginning at 1:00 P.M. will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating. Following the funeral service, graveside services and interment will take place at the Sidney Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
