Wanda Eckerle

Wanda M. Eckerle, age 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Carson City Hospital. She was born on May 26, 1942 in Midland, the daughter of Fred & Violet (Hover) Roberts.
In Lansing, on October 30, 1971, Wanda was married to William A. Eckerle and he survives in addition to her children, Vicki & Gary Acre of Benzonia, LeeAnn Eckerle of Lansing, Nicole & Josh Powers of Lansing and Bruce & Pam Eckerle of Lansing, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, her siblings, Wilma Agnor of Ovid, Rosetta Kosemba of Standish, Betty Munson of Crumb, Roberta Vaughn of Standish, Elaine Parish of Owosso, Luella & Gary Herford of Owosso, Irene & Marsie Garcia of Florida, LeRoy & Judy Roberts of Virginia, Ronald Roberts of Owosso and a special friend, Yvonne Cunningham and her family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Kenny & Richard Roberts.
Formerly of Lansing, Wanda has been a resident of the Sheridan area since 2000. She formerly owned and operated Shaw’s Triangle Restaurant in Meridian Township.
A memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Ryan White officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the service at the VFW Post 5065 in Sheridan.
There will not be any visitation held as cremation has already taken place.
