Vivian Marquerite Hansen

Vivian Hansen, age 97, of Stanton, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Altercare of Big Rapids.

Vivian was a member of the Frost Seventh Day Adventist church for many years.  She loved to garden, take care of her pets, entertain friends, but most of all, Vivian loved to care for her family, who she dearly loved.

Surviving Vivian is her husband of 66 years, Gordon R. Hansen; their son, Gordon J. Hansen (Michelle Hancock) of Stanton; grandchildren, Mathew (Destiny) Hansen of Lowell, Tiffany (Andrew) Jones of Battle Creek, Wren Hansen (Andrew Fisher) of Grand Rapids, Walt (Sue) Simons of Sheridan, Michelle Miller of Greenville; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Keagan, A’maya, Derek, Nicole, Adam, Graeme; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including, Teresa Hallock of Alma and Cindy (Jeff) Hepler of Oregon.

Vivian was preceded in death by her son, John Miller; sisters, Alta Jennings, Dorothy Hallock, Vesta Gardner; brothers, Herman Hallock, Laverne Hallock, Lee Hallock, Russell Hallock, and Glen Hallock; nephew, Timothy Hallock; and her parents, Timothy & Lena (Zimmerman) Hallock.

A celebration of Vivian’s life is being planned for a later date.
