Vicky Ann Roy, 66, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday February 9, 2019 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital. Vicky was born on July 22, 1952 in Greenville to Robert and Katherine (Lincoln) Cooper.
After Vicky graduated from High School, she worked a few manufacturing jobs, but once she became a mother, she devoted her time to raising her family. On June 13, 1970 she married Michael J. Roy, and together they enjoyed over 48 years of marriage. Vicky was someone who never was in the same place too long, she loved to get in the car and drive, she enjoyed visiting friends and relatives and just being on the open road. Whenever anyone would see her she would always have a Coke with her and never was too far from another one as that was her favorite drink. Crossword puzzles, and scrapbooking is what she did when she would finally sit still, having at least 24 completed scrapbooks for her family to enjoy! Vicky also delighted in spending time with her family.
Surviving Vicky is her husband; Michael, their children; Jamie Akers of Sheridan, Brandy Roy of Chase, her sisters; Sherry (Bruce) Kent of Greenville, Katherine (Roger) Baker of Chase, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, special friends; Ross and Faye Higgins of Onaway, along with many other extended family and friends who will greatly miss her. Vicky is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents; Grant and Beulah Lincoln and her brother Robert Cooper Jr.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at a later date, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Vicky are asked to consider the charity of their choice.
