Theodore Rensland

Theodore W. “Ted” Rensland, age 69, of Edmore passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Sheridan Community Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Walter & Rosa (Kraft) Rensland. Both parents have preceded him in death.
On April 4, 2009 in Edmore, Ted was married to Michelle M. Leak. She survives in addition to his daughter, Stephanie Rensland of Grand Rapids, his extended family and numerous friends.
Formerly of Grand Rapids, Ted has been a resident of Edmore since 2001; he retired from the Grand Rapids Fire Department after 35 years of service. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving from 1964-68, was very active in Historical Reenactments and loved sailing.
A memorial service in Grand Rapids will be held at a later date. There will not be any visitation held as cremation has already taken place in accordance with the family’s wishes.
