Terry Hersey Sr.

Terry L. Hersey, Sr., age 66, of Ionia, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, in Lansing at Sparrow Hospital.

Terry was not one to sit around and do nothing, he was constantly on the go doing something. He loved to tinker around with things and was one of those “jack-of-all-trades” kind of guys. Terry also loved to fish, especially saltwater fishing.

Surviving Terry are his daughters, Amber (Scott) Chapin of Fenwick; Brandi Hersey of Lake Wales, Florida; son, Terry Hersey Jr. of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren, Ira Hersey; Jacob Chapin; Keaghan Chapin, all of Fenwick; sister, Linda Brainard of Okeechobee, Florida; brothers, Robert (Vicki) Hersey of Apopka, Florida; Frank Jr. (Linda) Hersey of St. Cloud, Florida; Keith Brainard of Kissimmee, Florida; many nieces and nephews; and lots of great friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Jean Hersey; sister, Patti Hersey; brother, John Brainard, Jr.; and a niece, Amanda Hersey.

In honoring Terry’s wishes no formal funeral ceremony will be held.
