Teresa Jo Cilibraise

Teresa Jo Cilibraise, age 62, or Terri as she was known by her family and friends, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at her home in Battle Creek, under the loving care of her family and hospice.

Terri loved her family and friends.  She always looked forward to family reunions and cherished each and every one of them.  Terri also loved to read and enjoyed her books.  She was a graduate of Olivet College and worked for 40+ years at Barker Manufacturing.  When she wasn’t working, Terri enjoyed being outdoors and liked camping and going swimming.

Surviving Terri are her parents, Chuck & Charlene (Jensen) Cilibraise of Sheridan; husband, Dan “Boonie” Darling of Battle Creek; stepsons, Danny Darling and Jeff (Tanisha) Darling, both of Battle Creek;  grandson, Levi; siblings, Fr. Mike Cilibraise of Caledonia, Brian (Tammy) Cilibraise of Sidney, Russ (Michelle) Cilibraise of Mt. Pleasant; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; niece, Rachel Cilibraise; nephews, Ryan, Christopher, Jared, RJ, and Landon Cilibraise; several nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law, her Hancock cousins, Kathy, Karen, Tom, Kim, David, and their families; aunts, Linda Cilibraise of Greenville and her family and Mary Kay (Steve) Gavitt of Olivet and their family.

Terri’s life is being celebrated on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.).  Visitation is being held from 11 AM to 12 Noon.  Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon.  Final interment will be at Sheridan Cemetery.
