The Cord We are connected, My child and I, by An invisible cord Not seen by the eye. It’s not like the cord that connects us ’til birth, this cord can’t been seen by any on Earth. This cord does its work right from the start. It binds us together, attached to my heart. I know that it’s there though no one can see the invisible cord from my child to me. The strength of this cord is hard to describe. It can’t be destroyed It can’t be denied. It’s stronger than any cord man could create. It withstands the test Can hold any weight. And though you are gone, Though you’re not here with me, The cord is still there But no one can see. It pulls at my heart I am bruised…I am sore, But this cord is my lifeline As never before. I am thankful that God connects us this way, A mother and child death can’t take it away! Author Unknown We don’t see each other often Linda but I will always love you…I’m sorry to hear of your loss. You’re in our thoughts and prayers… Penny Houck…

Talin: I know your spirit is w/ me all the time. I can feel you w/ me through all this and know you’ll continue to look after me and our daughters till we meet again in heaven. Breckyn was a blessing, no matter if she was a 3am surprise positive pregnancy test on the day we were to go on vacation. I see you every time I look at her. Of course, Hanna refuses to sleep in her bed and has to sleep on your side of the bed w/ your pillow and blanket. Today I’m watching Certain Prey, the movie we were to watch for our anniversary on Monday when the girls were at school, plus my mom ordered our anniversary dinner from Ample Pantry for me and the girls tonight. My favorite memory is still the 1st day I met you, when Stacie was giving me report on you and I walked into your room, you were lying on your bed in a white T-shirt, jean’s and your Alpine Star hat on backwards. We smiled at 1 another and from that moment on we couldn’t think of enough reasons to see each other and talk but until you weren’t my patient anymore and we did have to uphold the patient-nurse protocol. Then the first night we spent together, unfortunately was in the hospital so I slept in the chair, doing your hair and keeping your anxiety down. I never left your side for those 5 days you were in there. What a first date. LOL. I miss you Talin, You filled my heart w/ your love and my love for you. My heart and soul will always and forever be yours.
