Stephanie "Stephie" Chaprnka (Bandy)

Stephanie Chaprnka, age, 68, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.

Fondly known as Stephie by those who loved her; family always came first. She loved her children and grandchildren, and turned everyday into a unique adventure. Stephie had an amazing sense of humor and could be quite spunky. She always said that she “got her stubbornness from her dad, and her compassion from her mom,” - and she lovingly displayed both! She was a wonderful cook and always looked forward to baking at the holidays. Stephie was truly a blessing and will be missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of nearly 45 years, David; daughter Ashley (James) Hamel of Greenville; son Adam (Becca) Chaprnka of Arlington, MA; grandchildren, Evan, Nolan, Anneliese, and June; brothers, Chris (Candance) Bandy of Boyne City, and Andrew Bandy of Milwaukee, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In honor of Stephie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Stephie was passionate about educating others on her disease, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). Those who wish may donate in her name to The American Lung Association to go towards IPF research and awareness at www.lung.org
