Stanley Soules, Sr., age 57 of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 in Byron Center under the loving care of his family and Faith Hospice.
He was born the son of Albert & Janice (Soullier) Soules on October 11, 1959 in Cheboygan, Michigan. His father, Albert, has preceded him in death.
Stan loved being outdoors and he especially liked to go camping and fishing. He was a talented woodworker who enjoyed creating and building things. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and throughout his life was active with several different riding groups.
Stan is survived by his mom, Janice Lucht of Kalamazoo; daughter, Holly (Tom) Hector of Ionia; son, Junior (Jennifer) Soules of Sidney; siblings, David (Kim) Soules of Howard City, Karen (Harvey) Kimble of Kalamazoo, Barb (Bob) Eldridge of Sheridan, Charles Soules of Cheboygan, Jonie (Jim) Puls of Muskegon, Tammy Soules of Muskegon, Elmer Soules of Lakeview, Katie Miller of Standish; grandchildren, Gabby, Tapaynga, Jade, Zoie, Sasha and Seth and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Stan’s life is being held with his family on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 3 to 6 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. During the celebration, you are free to come and go as your schedule allows and a variety of Stan’s favorite foods will be served.
In lieu of flowers you are asked to keep the needs of the family in mind as they deal with Stan’s sudden illness and passing. There will be envelops available at the funeral home.
