Sharon Minnick

Sharon Ann Minnick, 79, of Stanton, passed away at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids on January 21, 2021.

On April 21, 1962, Sharon married the love of her life, Robert Minnick and together they have enjoyed over 58 years of marriage. She worked for many years in the business office at Montcalm Community College. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, loved to read, sew, and watch medical shows on TV. She kept everyone in line and always kept an eye on the household activities from her command center in the living room.

Sharon is loved and survived by her husband; Robert, their children; Jeff (Shelly) Minnick of Belding, Jon (Candy) Minnick of Stanton, Scott (Leah) Minnick of Stanton, her grandchildren; JJ (Breann) Minnick, Morghan Minnick, Emily Minnick, Alyvia Minnick, Abby Minnick, Anna Minnick and Zoie Minnick, her brother; Larry (Alice) Homberger of Clawson, her nephews; Larry (Stella) Homberger II of Denver, CO, Gary (Jackie)Homberger of Memphis, TN, lifelong friends; John and Diane Lahr of Sheridan, along with many other extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Roy and Charlotte (Lilley) Homberger and a great grandson; Carsyn Minnick.

Honoring Sharon’s wishes, no formal ceremony will be held. Memorial contributions in memory of Sharon may be directed to Montcalm Community College.
