Scott F. Spohn, age 58, of Greenville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Scott was a kind soul who was always eager to help when he could, but wasn’t afraid to bluntly voice his opinion and he could, on occasion, have a sharp tongue. He loved his wife, Sue, with his whole heart and grieved her passing until the day he died. Scott loved his family and his dogs, Nitro and Sirous. His sharp wit made everyone laugh and he will be dearly missed.
Surviving Scott are his stepdaughters, Tara, Desire, and Daisey; stepsons, Travis and Ben; sisters, Joyce (Ed) Hitsman, Rosalee (Nathan) Welch, Kandi Kile, Shirley (Jerry) Coles, Susan (Greg) Hall, Keisha (Nathan) Vaugh; brothers, Stanley (Norma) Snyder, Phillip (Karen) Robbennolt, Thomas Robbennolt; nieces, Sarah (David) Clark, Kasey, Sierra, Kirsten, Korine; nephews, Mike (Sydney) Hitsman, Edward (BoCandra) Hitsman, Alexander, Kyle, Damian, Brett, Nathaniel, Jamie Jr., Zack, Tristen; many great nieces and nephews, including, Aaliyah, Isaiah, and Amelia; lots of cousins; and his best friends, Matt Yeomans and Jeff Hunt.
Scott was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; mother, Rosamae; father, Raymond; brother, Jack; grandparents, Dora & Stanley; and several aunts and uncles.
Scott’s life is being celebrated with a memorial service beginning at 1 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Brinton Chapel (8026 W. Stevenson Lake Road, Lake, MI 48632), with Pastor Shawn Ginger officiating.
