Sandra K. Strause, age 74, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her home under the loving care of her family and Kindred Hospice.
Sandy was a woman who loved her family. She adored her husband and loved being around her kids and grandkids. Sandy liked crafting and the blankets she gave to her grandkids are treasures they will have forever. She also enjoyed making and painting ceramics, tending to her garden, canning a lot of the things she grew, and making her famous peanut butter fudge. Sandy also enjoyed talking to family and friends for hours over a cup of coffee. Those conversations will be greatly missed by everyone.
Surviving Sandy is her husband, Gary; daughters, Barbara Geister of Greenville; Viola (Daniel) Ibarra of Stanton; Kimberly (John) Brewer of Greenville; Carmin Strouse of Greenville; sons, Ernest (Lorinda) Strouse of Greenville; Chris Strouse of Greenville; Glen (Liza) Strouse of Belding; Todd Strouse of Greenville; 27 grandkids; several great grandkids; sisters, Linda Cope of Babson Park, Florida; Mary (John) Maule of Greenville; Hazel Smith of Stanton; Patricia VanWormer of Lansing; Laura Jones Forist of Belding; brother, Mike Roger of Greenville and many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, George & Gertrude (Cavanaugh) Roger; sons, Hank Geister and Mark Geister; sister, Lois Wilson and brothers, Daniel Roger and James Howell.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 1st at 4pm at Beth Haven Baptist Church, 1158 Carson City Rd. Sheridan, MI 48884.
