Sandra M. Bodman, age 75, of Sheridan, passed away at her daughter’s home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Hospice.
The youngest of 17 children, Sandi quickly learned the value of being kind, patient, and caring. She carried those lessons with her throughout her entire life and was a woman who would, and often did, help everyone and anyone when they needed a hand. She was a very hard worker and retired from Electrolux after working there for over 33 years. Sandi also liked to play bingo whenever she could. However, above everything else, the most important thing to Sandy was her family; she loved them dearly, and they will miss her deeply.
Surviving Sandi is her husband, Richard Bodman of Sheridan; children, Sherri (Gweedo) Millen of Sidney; James (Cora) Bonoite of Sheridan; John (Liz) Bonoite of Greenville; Larry (Heather) Bonoite of Greenville; Irma (Aaron) Hunt of Lake City; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Barb) Ring of Belding and Art Ring of Belding; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Joe Shattuck of Ionia and Harold and Jessica Bodman of Ionia.
Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, Erval & Axe (Adaire) Ring; son, Neil Bonoite; grandkids, Joseph Clifford; Justin Clifford; Dessiree Bonoite; Dillion Bonoite; several brothers and sisters.
Sandi’s life is being celebrated on Tuesday, July 6th at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.). Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 PM, with funeral services beginning at 1 PM.
