Ruth Wise

Ruth Mae Wise, 89, of Greenville, passed away at home on February 1, 2020. She was born near Blue Island, Illinois on June 22, 1930. After high school she worked for many years as a telephone operator for Allis Chalmers.

Someone who was always on the go, Ruth always had somewhere to be and something to do, she never was one to stay home. She loved to travel; especially out west to see the mountains, she enjoyed garage sales, gardening, cats, roses, crocheting and going to the casino. She would always say she wanted to be where the action was!

Ruth is loved and survived by her children; Linda (Dan) Tedesco of Greenville, Jesse (Patricia) White of Gowen, her grandchildren; Bill (Kim) Wilkerson of Romeoville, Ill, John (Nicole) Wilkerson of St. Charles, Ill, Julie Vinckus of Belvidere, TN, Jesse (Janell) White, Rachel (Parker) Weeks, Jennifer (Troy) Kremmers all of Greenville. Her half-brother; Elvin (Dotti) Tisdale of Scottville and her half-sister; Geraldine (Kevin) McClellen of Trufant. She is preceded in death by her mother; Tessie Tisdale, and two husbands; Raymond White and James Wise.

In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, no formal ceremony will be held. Memorial contributions in memory of Ruth may be given to the Humane Society of Mid-Michigan.
