Obituary for Roy Leonard Harmon
Roy L. Harmon, age 69 of Sheridan passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 2, 2016.
He was born the son of Weldon & Hazel (Fensom) Harmon on June 12, 1946 in Lansing and they both preceded him in death as well as his adoptive mother, Barb Sellers and son, Gregory Scott King.
Roy is survived by his wife, Alice Harmon; daughter, Jennifer Hunt of Sheridan; grandchildren, Anthony Swanson, Jr. of Greenville, Nathan Hunt, Megan Hunt and Zain Hunt all of Sheridan; several siblings and his best friend, Ken Skaggs of Sheridan.
Roy loved being outdoors and especially like camping and fishing. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Roy’s life is being held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 beginning at 4 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.
