Rose Mary Hickman

Rose Hickman, age 65, of Greenville, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Hospice.

Rosie was an artist and someone who saw beauty all around her; she loved to capture and document that beauty through her photography, drawings, and paintings. Lake Michigan held a very special place in her heart and she loved her time there, even more so when she could be there with her family. Rosie loved tracing her roots through genealogy, collecting all things Mickey Mouse, and going Thrift Store shopping. Rosie also drove a school bus for a number of years. She will be dearly missed by everyone.

Surviving Rosie is her husband, James; children, Kristina (Brian) Marsh of Stanton, Jimmy Hickman of Lowell, and Jef Hickman of Florida; grandchildren, Austin, Autumn, Mitchell, Brianna, Korbin, and Kalob; great granddaughters, Eloise and Charlotte; siblings, Beth (Don) Vandenheuvel of Lansing, Cathy (Jeff) Barker of Gaylord, Susie (Ric) Hirt of Wyoming, and David (Debbie) Ogan of Rockford; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Jean Keck of Pickford.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, William & Nancy (Smith) Ogan; sister, Laura Fowler; and brothers, Patrick Ogan and Billy Ogan.

A celebration of Rosie's life is being planned for a later date.
