Rolla Timmons

Reverend Rolla J. Timmons, age 90 of Ithaca, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 23, 2016.

Rolla was born the son of Olin & Altie (Wolford) Timmons on October 1, 1926 and they along with his wife, Wanda preceded him in death.

Rolla is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Leonard) Gunderman of Coral; son, Jerry (Catherine) Timmons of Ithaca; grandchildren, Jeri (Mark) Lauer of Hamilton, Kelly Gunderman-Lake of Coral, Laura (Carl) Logan of Portland, Oregon, Lucas (Lisa) Gunderman of Coral; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Rolla was the Pastor at Pine Grove church for 22 years before serving as the Pastor at the Edmore First Church of God for 13 years and ending his formal ministerial career helping as an Associate Pastor at the Remus Church of God.

Visitation with Rolla’s family will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Seville Community Church of God (8360 W. Monroe Road (M-46), Elwell) and also one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services for Rolla will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 beginning at 11 AM with Pastor George Showers officiating. Final interment will be next to his wife at McBride Cemetery.
