Robert Stoneham Sr.

Robert D. Stoneham, age 62 of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 1, 1952 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Robert M. & Beverley (Alexander) Stoneham. His father preceded him in death in June of 2004.
Surviving is his mother, Beverley Stoneham of Carson City, 2 daughters, Jennifer Fohlbrook of Rockford, Deanna & Rick Robinson of Sheridan, 4 sons, Robert Stoneham Jr. of Sheridan, Manson Stoneham of DeQuincy, Louisana, James & Janikki Stoneham of Sheridan, Leroy Woodard of Edmore, 13 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Kathy & Greg Perkins of Edmore, Karen Stoneham of Edmore, Kim Morgan of Greenville, 2 brothers, Danny & Cindy Stoneham of Grand Ledge, Kim & Gary Stoneham of Holt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert has been a longtime resident of Sheridan. He was retired from the US Army and the National Guard after 23 years of service. During his service time, he participated in the Gulf War and also Desert Storm. He was a member of the VFW Post 5065 of Sheridan as well as the American Legion. Bob loved buying lottery tickets, fishing, hunting, and karaoke, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services beginning at 10:00 AM will be on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with his brother, Pastor Danny Stoneham officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment and military rites will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan at 2:30 PM on Tuesday.
