Robert D. Shock, Sr., age 57, of Hubbardston, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
First and foremost, Bob was a family man. A man who strived to see his family together. He always had just the right advice and gave that advice with a voice that could tame a wolverine. He was a lover of music and an extremely talented guitar player, a passion he shared with all who knew him. Bob’s love and admiration for cars and drag racing was almost as pure as his love for his family. Bob will be dearly missed by everyone.
Surviving Bob are his children, Robert Shock II, William Shock (Bobbie Carriere), and Cheyenne Shock. Grandchildren, Zachary, Madison, McKenna, Crystil, and Alice; sister, Dianne Hopkins (Shorty Lehman); brother, Joseph (Pam) Shock; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Jim Wolf and Duane Guy.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William & Alice (Nodine) Shock; brother, Billy Shock; and nephews, Josh Shock and Steven Hopkins II.
Bob’s life is being celebrated on Wednesday, August 17th from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.). Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. Bob will be laid to rest at Evergreen Township Cemetery.
