Patricia Larsen

Patricia E. Larsen, 65 of Orleans passed away Wednesday night at her home with her family by her side.
Patricia was born on March 2, 1949 in Ionia, the daughter of Elwood and Geraldine (Misner) Larsen both of whom have preceded her in death.
A 1967 graduate of Ionia High School, Patricia worked as a case worker for the Ionia County Department of Social Services until 2004. She loved to travel with nieces and nephews especially to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula where she enjoyed viewing the Mighty Mackinaw Bridge. Patricia also served as a volunteer for the Ionia Area Hospice.
She is survived by two sisters; Sue Larsen of Orleans and Kathy & Wayne Geister of Fenwick, one brother; Gerald “Chip” Shellman of Orleans, one nephew; Eric & Lisa Geister, one niece; Sara Cloutier; five great nephews and nieces; Luke Gibson, Tessa Gibson, Eleanor Geister, Walter Geister and Liberty Cloutier and one very special great niece Zoe Geister.
In honoring Patricia’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and there will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
