Norman C. Moon, age 71, of Stanton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 22, 2022, passing away in Greenville, at Spectrum Health United Hospital.
He was born on November 4, 1950 to Alton & Madolyn (Pinkston) Moon.
Norm graduated from Central Montcalm High School and retired from Montcalm Community College where he taught computer courses and was the I.T. Administrator. He also attended Trinity Church in Stanton and helped to set up their computer systems.
Norm was a family man who was raised to appreciate hard work and to take pride in all he did. He was a jack of all trades, he built his own house, and was a gifted wood worker. He loved farming, plowing snow, mowing the yard, keeping a weedless garden, and taking his wife and the dogs for rides in the woods.
Surviving Norm is his wife, Sally Clute-Moon; sons, Christian (Renee) Clute and Andrew Clute; daughter, Nicole (Steve) Wilson; brothers-in-law, John Babcock and Lewis (Sharon) Borton; sister-in-law, Laura Mosby; aunt, Loretta Hinderlang; uncle, John Reed; cousins, John (Linda) MacClaren, Terry (Linda) Moon; several nieces and nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and special friend, Judi Snyder.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Janice Bugbee, sisters, Janice, Judy, Joyce, and twin infant brothers, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Norm’s life is being celebrated on Wednesday, May 25th at Trinity Church in Stanton (415 N. Mill St.). Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM and funeral services will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Edwards officiating.
