Nadine “Dee” Houseman, age 70 of Stanton, passed away at her home on Friday, February 14, 2020.
Dee loved the simple pleasures in life, she liked going shopping, taking trips across the Mackinaw Bridge, looking for deals at yard sales, reading romance novels, and most of all spending time with her grandkids.
Dee is survived by her daughter, Leila Swartz of Ft. Myers, Florida; sons, Robert Thiel (Lisa Denman) of Stanton; Shawn Swartz of Moberly, Missouri; Leon Houseman Jr., of Sumner; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Nancy) Sebring of Fenwick; Bob (Virginia) Smalley of Fenwick, and Fred (Carol) Smalley of Crystal.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Leota (Spencer) Smalley; husband, Leon Houseman and a brother, William Smalley.
A celebration of Dee’s life is being planned for a later date.
