Milton Harbaum, age 72, of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
Milt was a guy who always had a smile on his face and a positive outlook on life. He was a very talented builder who could make just about anything, including four of his own custom built homes. Milt proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a big football fan rooting for Ohio State and the Green Bay Packers. For 18 years, Milt enjoyed working at Home Depot where he made many lifelong friends. Milt was a beloved grandfather and he will be dearly missed by everyone.
Surviving Milt are his children, Robert (Lea) Harbaum of Seney, Mike (Laura) Ruggles of Stanton, and Annette Sage of Dearborn; grandchildren, Michael (Elizabeth), Alyssa (Patrick), Brieanne, Nick, Ryan, Bryce, LeRoy (Elizabeth), Mark, Zackery, Chaese, Tyler (Morgan), Tabbetha (Sebastian), and Christopher (Camille); many great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen (Douglas) Burrows, Bonnie Dickerson, Patti (David) Firth, and Claudia Rowland.
Milt was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Jean (Milligan) Harbaum; his wife, Lenora; and son, Tim Harbaum.
Milt’s life is being celebrated on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Trinity Church in Stanton (415 N. Mill St.) with a gathering of family and friends from 1 to 2 PM and a memorial service beginning at 2 PM, with Pastor Bob Guilford officiating.
For those wanting to make a memorial donation in honor of Milt, the family suggests you direct them to the Michigan Vietnam Vets Memorial Island Park in Mt. Pleasant. Envelopes will be available at the church on Saturday.
