Mike Wyczesany

January 30, 1964 — October 26, 2019

Michael Wyzcesany, age 55 of Edmore, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Giving, kindhearted, and dedicated are just a few ways you could describe Mike. He freely gave of himself and put others ahead of his own needs throughout his lifetime. Mike was a firefighter with the Home Township Fire Department for many years and then became the Day Township Fire Chief, a position he held for many years. A 1982 graduate of Montabella High School, Mike was not one to sit still, his family described him as a “workaholic” who would rarely sleep or take a break. Mike worked on various farms in the area, as a mechanic at the Ford Dealership in both Edmore and Stanton, plowed snow, and was currently an electronic repair technician at Bandit Industries. Mike loved people and was loved back by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Surviving Mike is his mom, Donna Wyczesany of Edmore; brother, Dwayne Wyczesany of Edmore, and his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy & Tom Stewart of Edmore; aunt, Joan Karzcewski and several cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Victor Wyczesany; uncles Harold “Bud” Graham; Richard West; Johnny Wyzcesany; Ralph (Carol) Graham and his aunt, MaryAnn Rioux.
