Michael Wayne Shinabarger, age 55 of Stanton, passed away at his home on Friday, December 14, 2018.
While deer hunting season may have a specific date range, the pursuit of whitetails; especially big bucks was not only a year long, but lifelong passion of Mike’s. When he wasn’t hunting deer, he could be found working on his food plots, preparing his gear, or thinking about deer hunting. He loved being outdoors, going mushroom hunting and he absolutely loved taking his nieces and nephews for rides around the property on his mule. Mike also looked forward to his annual vacation at Eldora Speedway with his family and helping his brother Johnny load and unload his buys from the auction.
Surviving Mike is his mom and step dad, Judith & John Hall of Stanton; grandma, Alice Hall; sisters, Tina (Paul) Alksnis of Sparta; Tammy Shinabarger of Centreville, Virginia; brother, Johnny (Jennifer) Hall of Stanton; nieces & nephews, Jennifer Sella; Derek Scott; Heidi Scott; Sean Hall; Emily Hall; Yasmein Akl and many great nieces and nephews.
Mike is preceded in death by father, Gary Shinabarger; grandpa’s, Ronald Shinabarger; Donald Edwards; Louis Hall and grandma’s, Alice Shinabarger and Gladys Edwards.
