Michael L. Peterman, age 64, of Edmore, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Sheridan Community Hospital with his family at his side. He was born on December 1, 1946 in Greenville, the son of Lawrence A. & Elsie A. (Moffatt) Peterman.
On January 1, 1965, Michael was married to the former Janet M. Hissong and she survives in addition to their children, Darren & Tina Peterman of Edmore, Timothy Peterman & Karen Collins of Edmore and Dawayne & Kimberly Peterman of Stanton plus 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 sister, Marjorie Williams of Florida, 1 brother, Donald Peterman of White Cloud, his in-laws, Mary & Floyd Cooper of Sidney, Carol & Fred Smalley of Edmore, Lois Bannen of Greenville, John Hissong of Six Lakes and his dog, “Ginger”.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, 2 children, Michael Jr. and Cissy Marie, two sisters, Marilyn Fenton and Glenna Cope, his mother in law, RTV Marie Hissong and in-laws, Dale Cope, Jerry Hissong and Larry Bannen.
Formerly a longtime resident of the Sidney area, Michael has resided in Edmore since 2005. He was retired from Thompson Farms, Sidney, where he worked for over 30 years.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4th beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the VFW Post 5065 in Sheridan with Pastor Bernard Loew officiating.
Following cremation, final interment will be at the Sidney Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial considerations for the family would be appreciated. There will be envelopes available at the memorial service on Friday at the VFW Post in Sheridan.

Mike was a good man,he always hadtime to chit chat and ask how you were doing. Chris worked with him for many years and I can remember coming home and telling me stories about Mike. We feel for your loss of this loved one.
