Michael Joseph Hansen

Michael J. Hansen, age 24, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Michael was born on August 27, 1991 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was the son of Brad & Jill (Hollinshead) Hansen, both have preceded him in death as well as his grandmother, Mary Jo Hansen.

Michael is survived by his brother, Matt Hansen of Ionia; Grandparents, Cy Hansen of Stanton, Jerry & Norma Hollinshead of Sheridan; nephews, Isaiah & Dartagnan; niece, Peyten and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A 2010 graduate of Central Montcalm High School, Michael was a wonderful and kind person who absolutely loved being an uncle. He was loved by everyone who knew him and his smile could light up the room. Michael’s dry sense of humor and sarcastic wit would crack you up and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation with Michael’s family is being held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for Michael will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 beginning at 1 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating. Final inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his mother and father.

Memorial donations made in Michael’s memory can be made to the family and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
