May Fuhrman, age 72 of rural Stanton passed away at her home on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was born on May 18, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Leo & Jane (Kindred) Drews. Both parents have preceded her in death as well as a sister, a brother and a brother-in-law.
Surviving is her longtime companion, George Parrish, one daughter, Tina Fuhrman of Greenville, a son, Rex Fuhrman Jr. of Stanton, 2 step sons, Rusty Parrish and Randy Parrish, both of Belding, 3 granddaughters, Lacy Mohr, Heather Mohr and Kiri Fuhrman, 2 great grandchildren, Kiana and Bentley, 2 sisters, Mary Nowlin of Big Rapids, Ilene Bair of Big Rapids, 2 brothers-in-law, Michael Guy of Big Rapids and Bill Bair of Big Rapids plus several nieces and nephews.
May has been a longtime resident of the Belding and Stanton areas; she was also retired from Gibsons in Greenville.
Funeral services beginning at 12 noon will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating. Interment is at the Ferris Center Cemetery.
Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 11:00 AM; one hour prior to the funeral service.
