Mary Ann Munson

Mary Ann Munson, age 99, of Stanton, passed away at home on July 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Pemberville, Ohio on April 10, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Matilda Gross.
On September 25, 1942, she married Robert Munson and together they enjoyed over 65 years of marriage until his death in 2010. Mary summed up her life in a brief paragraph, “I had a joyous and exciting life, I’ve had such a beautiful family, concerning relatives, and wonderful friends. It’s been a glorious journey and I feel I’ve been very blessed.”
Mary is loved and survived by her children; Jan Bowerman, Larry Munson; her grandchildren; Scott (Sharon) Bowerman, Michele Bowerman, Chris (Joy) Munson, Alexis Harn, 13 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and a niece; Diane Shirley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Private family services have been held. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary may directed towards the National Kidney Foundation.
