Marvin T Holman
Marvin T. Holman, age 80, of Lakeview passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital.
Born the son of Michael & Louise (James) Holman in Cleveland, Ohio they have both preceded him in death as well as two brothers, two sisters and a grandson Jake.
Marv was a kind and generous person as well as a wonderful musician who was a singer, bass and guitar player. He was born with the gift to gab and enjoyed putting that talent to use whenever he could, it can be said that Marv never met a stranger. He enjoyed collecting various antiques as well as musical instruments. Marv was also a very big Chicago Cubs fan.
He is survived by his wife, Tandy; daughters, Kathy Bedura of Chicago, Shannon & Casey Mazur of Chicago, Melanie Javens of Chicago, Lisa & Peter Karevetti of New Port Richey, Florida, Megan & Phil Lugo-Kapuza of Chicago; sons, Jonny & Sandy Holman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Michael & Cheryl Holman of Chicago, Rick Lugo of Chicago; two sisters, Rosemary Dickman of Tell City, Indiana, Regina & Jim King of Green Castle, Indiana; eighteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of Marv’s life will be held in the spring of 2016.
