Marjorie R Pomeroy (Marjorie R. Boist)

Marjorie R. Pomeroy, age 89, went to sleep in Christ on Thursday, May 28, 2015, passing away at the Laurels of Carson in Carson City, Michigan.

Just a few days shy of 90, Marjorie was born on June 2, 2015 the daughter of Roy & Gladys (Keiser) Boist in Prattville, Michigan.

On June 5, 1942 Marjorie married the love of her life, Edward Pomeroy and he proceeded her in death on December 7, 1991.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Carol & Robert Button of Stanton; son, Roy & Sharon Pomeroy of Arizona; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A resident of the Laurels of Carson since 2008, Mrs. Pomeroy was a former resident of the Stanton, Florida and Chesaning area. She was a faithful member of the Frost Seventh Day Adventist church in Stanton. Marjorie loved to go boating, fishing, having picnics and being outdoors. She was a very loving person, extremely attentive to her family and someone who had a big heart and was always willing to give of herself. Most importantly, Marjorie loved her Lord.

In honoring Marjorie’s wishes no services are being held.

For those wanting to make a memorial donation in Marjorie’s memory, the family has suggested donations be made to the Frost Seventh Day Adventist church.
