Margueritte P Leach (Robinson)

Margueritte Leach, age 100, of Lansing passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Lansing. She was the daughter of Emmet & Irma (Smith) Robinson on June 20, 1915 in Sheridan.

Margueritte is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Leach; son, Keith Krum; son-in-law, Roy Moody; three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Richard) Moody-Bryant of Sun City Center, Florida; son, Dennis Krum of Lansing; sisters, Marcedas Cesar of Greenville and Phyllis Brecht of Reese; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A longtime resident of Lansing, Mrs. Leach retired from General Motors in 1975 and enjoyed 40 years of retirement. She loved music and enjoyed playing the organ and piano. She also loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Visitation with Margueritte’s family is being held from 10-11 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services will begin at 11 AM, at the funeral home, with Reverend Mike Prince officiating. Final interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan.

For those wanting to make a memorial donation in memory of Margueritte, the family suggests donations be made to Hometown Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
