Margery Ralph (Harrington)

Margery J. Ralph, age 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Country Friends AFC in Sumner.

Margery was a member of the Stanton First Congregational Church and a lifetime member of the Sheridan VFW Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler and loved the lifelong friendships she made with the ladies she bowled with for years. Margery was also a big animal lover and was always looking out for her furry friends. She worked in the deli at Meijer for 15+ years and she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Surviving Margery are her daughters, Brenda (Ken) Gillman of Greenville and Cheryl Dobson of Morley; sons, Larry (Debbie) Ralph of Sheridan and Mark (Leah) Ralph of Vergennes, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.

Margery was preceded in death by her parents, Ora & Muriel (Wolven) Harrington; son, Tom Ralph; granddaughter, Kaileigh Ralph; sisters, Beatrice Harrington, Dorothy Rozanski, and Cleo Heath; brothers, Bob Barker and Lyle DeWinter; and son-in-law, Bob Dobson.

Margery’s life is being celebrated on Thursday, January 13th at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.). Visitation is being held from 12 Noon to 1 PM, with her funeral service beginning at 1 PM.
