Marcia Louise Harris

Marcia L. Harris, age 76 of Stanton passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Carson City.

She was born on September 29, 1939 the daughter of John & Margret (Saxton) Clanche and they proceed her in death as well as her brother Piken Clanche.

Marcia is survived by her husband Phillip; daughter, Robin (Hill) Kilgore of Georgia; sons, Craig Wilkinson of Youngstown, Ohio, Mark Wilkinson of Coopersville; sister, Jean Colegrove of North Carolina; brother, David of Missouri; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and very close family friend, Terry & Marilyn Lueder of Stanton.

Marcia was a great cook. She also enjoyed spending time on her computer, sewing and painting various scenes and decorations on shirts.

Visitation with Marcia’s family will be on Saturday from noon until 1 PM, with funeral services starting at 1 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. Final interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery. Pastor Don Wolf will be officiating the service.

For those wanting to make a memorial donation in Marcia’s memory the family has suggested donations be made to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
