Mae Marie Holland

Mae M. Holland, age 72, of Stanton, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at her home.

Mae had a kind and tender heart.  She loved her furry friends and was always taking care and feeding them.  Mae enjoyed knitting and crocheting things and was always making family and friends hats and scarfs.  She loved going fishing with her Uncle Larry and was a very good angler; often out catching everyone.  Mae also liked tending to her flower garden and she absolutely loved frogs.  She was a very faithful member of her Jehovah Witness Church and was very thankful for the technology which allowed her to follow along with her church family each week when her health would not allow her to attend in person.

Surviving Mae are her children, Carolyn (Jim) Goss, Paulette Holland, Nick Holland, and Kristina Holland; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Lyons and Wendy (Keith) Haveman; brother, Bill Goupell, Jr.; Uncle, Larry Lake; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved furry friends.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Sr. & Naomi (Shellenbarger) Goupell; son, Carlton Tiffany; sister, Paulette Goupell; brothers, Dan Hulliberger, Ken Hulliberger, Dave Hulliberger, Jim Hulliberger, and Al Hulliberger.

In honoring Mae’s wishes private family services were held at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Stanton.
