Lynn Bruce Day

Lynn Bruce Day, 76, of Stanton, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Sparrow Carson City Hospital in Carson City.

Lynn was born to Kenneth LeRoy Day and Vonda Kathleen (Shaw) Day on March 4, 1946. Lynn attended Lansing Sexton School and began boxing at the age of seventeen. He served in the United States Army from 1963 -1965. He attended Capitol City Barber College and Great Lakes Bible College.

In his retirement Lynn enjoyed woodworking, cooking and spending time with Robin and his family. Lynn will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Lynn was preceded in death by both his parents, a brother Rodger (Lillian) Day, three sisters, Carol (Fred) Griffin, Janet (Phillip) Converse, and Kathy (Mark) Dubetz. He leaves to cherish his memories, his life-partner Robin Buckmaster, sons; Roger Day, Christopher (Christina) Day; Troy (Valerie) Day; and Jason Day, daughters; Chari' (Day) Robinson, Jennifer (Day) Bell and one sister Marsha (Thomas) Johnson, 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends to continue to treasure his memory.
