Lucille Kowalski

Lucille I. Kowalski, age 91, of St. Johns, passed away on Monday, November 19th at Sparrow Clinton Hospital in St. Johns. She was born on January 17, 1921 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Otto & Emma (Loush) Motcheck.
On February 11, 1949, Lucille was married to Ernest Z. Kowalski and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1996.
Surviving are her children, Suzanne & Manuel Chiunti of St. Johns, Patricia & Steve Kellogg of Laingsburg, MI, Roger & Susan Kowalski of Troy, MI and Marty & Teri Kowalski of Ste Saint Marie, MI in addition to 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Formerly of Stanton, Mrs. Kowalski has been a resident of St. Johns since 2008. She was an avid quilter.
A private family burial is on Wednesday, November 21st at the Sidney Cemetery. There will not be any visitation held.
For those desiring to do so, the family has suggested memorial considerations can be made to the VFW Post 5065 of Sheridan.
