Lorraine “Lori” TenBrink, 62, of Stanton, passed away at home on Thursday, July 29, 2021, under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice.
Lori was born on September 29, 1958, in East Grand Rapids, the daughter of Doyle and Tanneke Melton. An artist in every sense of the word, Lori was known for her artistic talents and crafts and loved working with her hands. She had a sincere love of animals, enjoyed camping, fishing with her kids and grandkids, and going to the casino to play the slot machines. One of the times she cherished most was the yearly trip to Melbourne Beach, Florida with her family, she loved to be at the beach with her favorite people. She loved Christmas morning and was just as excited as the kids, and always made her cinnamon rolls for Christmas breakfast. On May 22, 1998, Lori married her best friend, Tom TenBrink and together they have enjoyed 23 years of marriage. In that 23 years, Tom and Lori were inseparable. They were together 24/7 and over the course of their marriage, were only apart a total of a few months! They worked together in their business, T&L Crafts for 11 years and shared a bond like no other. Lori was the happiest when she was with her family, especially Tom.
Lori is loved and survived by her husband Tom; her children, Jeremy (Kelly) Venema of Crystal, Aaron (Becky) Venema of Lowell, Christine (Josh) Fryling of Kentwood, Tanneke (Keith) Herp of Alto, Kevin (Kristine) TenBrink of California, Paula TenBrink of Lake Odessa, Tracy (Andy) Manshaem of Rockford; her grandkids, Madison, Keirston, Malcolm, Mackenzi, Devin, MacKenzie, Kamie, J.J., Nevaeh, Ashley, Trinity, and Mason; her brothers, David (Tricia) Melton, Hendrick Melton, Doyle (Holli) Melton, Shawn (Sara) Melton, Jon (Nano) Walker, along with many other extended family and friends.
