Lori Bannen, age 45 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at her parents’ home in Greenville on Saturday, April 20, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.
If you wanted a description of kind, caring, and positive you had to look no further than Lori. She was a devoted mom who loved her kids and an awesome Meme who really loved her grandkids. Through her work as a Registered Nurse, Lori extended the care and kindness she showed in her personal life to the babies and new parents she worked with in the Neonatal Unit and as a Transport Nurse when she worked at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. When she wasn’t working, Lori enjoyed being outdoors camping, boating, and taking long walks. Her example of love, compassion, and her positive attitude, no matter the circumstances will long be remembered and cherished.
