Loretta Durnell, age 72, of Crystal, passed away at her home on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Loretta was someone who always put others first, worked hard to care for them, and never missed an opportunity to help people. She was a talented seamstress who would make just about anything with her sewing machine and imagination. Loretta loved crafting and especially liked to make things for all the holidays.
Surviving Loretta are her sons, Tom (Rayann) O’Dell of Crystal and Tim (Tracy) Roundtree of Fenwick; grandchildren, Dakota O’Dell of Stanton, Breann (JJ) Minnick of Stanton, Brandon King of Belding, Amber King of Belding; great grandchildren, Camden, Reaghan, Ethan, Temperance, Elizabeth; and close friends, Gary and Tina Hayes of Florida.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Lorraine (Hacker) Roundtree; husband, Ronald Durnell; brothers, Donald Roundtree, Ronald Roundtree; sister, Brenda; great grandchildren, Carsyn Minnick and Saydee Minnick.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Final inurnment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
