Linda Egan (Sines)

Linda A. Egan, age 77, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, in Grand Rapids at Spectrum Health Butterworth.

Linda was a very passionate person. While she was passionate about sports in general, college basketball was her favorite. When she was younger, Linda also enjoyed playing a variety of different sports. She was also passionate about her family and loved spending time with them and taking care of them. Linda was also a great teacher and instructor who loved teaching her family how to cook and fend for themselves. She also was an avid reader, a talented seamstress, and someone who loved an adventure and liked to travel.

Surviving Linda are her daughters, Debra (Anthony) Yaczko of Angier, North Carolina; Nicole Egan of Sheridan; son, Eric (Robin) Egan of Lowell; grandchildren, Katarina Yaczko of Angier, North Carolina, Cameron Egan of Lowell, Kendal Egan of Lowell; sister, Sally (Lee) Francis of Portland; brother, Jack Sines of Portland; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William & Doris (Reed) Sines; husband, Bob Egan; and two brothers, Bill Sines and Dick Sines.

A celebration of Linda’s life is being held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.) from 11 AM to 2 PM with a time of sharing at 1:30 PM. Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. Final inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan.
