Lillian H. Lutz, age 92, of Fenwick, died on Saturday, March 09, 2013 at Metron of Greenville.
Lillian was born on July 15, 1920, the daughter of LeRoy & Josephine (Miller) Mahlich in Pine Township.
On June 1, 1968, Lillian married Gaylord Lutz and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2005. In addition to her husband and parents, Lillian is preceded in death by a grandson, Jared Christiansen, a granddaughter Brandie Christiansen, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Mrs. Lutz is survived by 1 daughter, Janice Christiansen of Stanton; 1 son, Jerry & Cindy Christiansen of Stanton; 3 grandchildren, Vonnie Christiansen & Dana Cummins of Lakeview, Genean Christiansen & Brett Franklin of Stanton and Jacob & Katlin Train of Lansing; 6 great grandchildren, Michael Bolen of Greenville, Aundrea Bolen & Chase Smith of Sumner, Samantha Bolen of Stanton, Jacob Felde of Lakeview, Ashley Felde of Greenville and Kole Train of Lansing; 1 great-great grandson, Blaine Smith of Sumner, 1 sister-in-law, Helen Middleton of Fenwick and 1 brother-in-law, Chester Williams of Stanton and 4 step children, Gaille, Dan, Greg & June.
Lillian was a life long resident of the Montcalm county area. She was retired from Electrolux. She and Gaylord enjoyed traveling and camping, going to dances and playing cards. She loved her friends and family and will be greatly missed by everyone.
In accordance with Lillian’s wishes, a graveside service will be held this summer at Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan. The family has suggested for anyone wanting to make a memorial donation in Lillian’s memory that donations be sent to Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 900 Cooper Street, Jackson, MI 49202.
