I am sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I too had your mother as a teacher and she was my favorite. She was a special person who made others feel special. I remember many years ago I was shopping in an area store I was now an adult with my own child with me. Letha came up to me and remembered who I was, I did not recognize her. This was amazing considering I had her as my third grade teacher and so many years later she remembered me out of all those faces she had seen over so many years. One of my very favorite things I remember about her as a teacher was how she loved to play the piano and her little legs and feet would stomp those pedals. Makes me simle just thinking about it. She was a true light in this world. God bless you and your families, and thank you for sharing your mom with the rest of us.
