Laura Mexico-Groner, age 62 of Dorr, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming after a short but tough battle with cancer.
While Laura was a homebody who didn’t venture to far away she was a very crafty person who liked making and designing silk flower arrangements, which she would make and giveaway. She was an extremely organized person and somewhat of a clean freak. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed playing games with them, putting puzzles together and just being with them. Laura also loved watching cartoons and playing games on her phone.
Surviving Laura are her daughters, April (Paul) Decess; Lena Mexico (Chris Davis); sons, Chris (Jenna) Mexico; Todd (Rebecca) Mexico; grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler, Sebastian, Amyiah, Watson, Jaylen, Elyjah, Donny, Isabelle, Myla, Addison, Liam, Skylar, one soon to be born granddaughter; two great grandchildren; lifetime friend and father of her children, James C. Mexico, Jr.; sisters, Marsha Broadsword; Dyanna Brisson; Lynda Brisson and brothers, Michael Brisson and Jamie Brisson.
Laura is preceded in death by parents Bernard & Ernestine (Pearson) Brisson.
A celebration of Laura’s life is being planned for a later date.
