Kevin R Hayslett

Kevin R. Hayslett, age 59 of Sheridan passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.

He was born the son of Roy & Lois (Harsh) Hayslett on October 21, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio and they along with a sister Phyllis Hayslett precede him in death.

Kevin is survived by the love of his life, Cyndy Apple of Sheridan; two sisters, Cyndi (Bill) Hackett of Livermore, California, Andrea Vardaman of Brookville, Ohio; nephews, Kevin Lee Vardaman, Harley Vardaman and his family, George Hackett; niece, Sarah Spencer and her family, step children, Katie Lane and Karish Lane and many dear friends.

Kevin enjoyed working on his steam engine “Peggy”, riding his Harley with friends and his sweetheart. He loved being outdoors and sharing his life and laughter with friends and family. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Run will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Line up will be at 11:30 AM at the funeral home in Sheridan, kickstands up at 12 noon. After the run is completed, everyone is invited back to Kevin & Cyndy's house for some great food (BYOB).
