Kay MacDonald (Hopkins)

Kay MacDonald, age 70, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 1, 2021, passing away at Golden Life AFC in Rockford.
Kay loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a very giving person and would help anyone who needed it. Kay worked for many years as a CNA, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and doing puzzles when she wasn’t working. Kay will be deeply missed by everyone.
Surviving Kay is her daughter, Sarah Jerrils (Aaron Corvoda) of Greenville; grandchildren, Heaven Jerrils (Brody Sommer) of Ionia, Trevor Litnianski of Ionia, Cassie Litnianski of Ionia, Samantha Jerrils of Nevada; many great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Holly) Hopkins of Fenwick, Henry (Rosie) Hopkins of Stanton; sister, Cindy (Bill) Stump of Ionia; several nieces and nephews; and her “adopted daughter” Shelly Ramirez of Greenville.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, William and Arlene (Bonite) Hopkins; son, Shannon Jerrils; sister, Glee McKeown; granddaughters, Breian Perez and Sierria Perez; and great grandson, Steven Smith.
A celebration of Kay’s life is being planned for a later date.
